The Parents
The sire lives primarily as a family companion. He is a well-balanced dog with good nerves and a willingness to work. He is steady and pleasant both in everyday life and in different situations.
The dam is lively and active and needs something to do every day. She is easy to train, and as a competition dog she would certainly have the qualities to go far. She has good nerves, is also independent, and is able to work away from her handler with confidence.
The dam has also tried herding, and her natural herding instinct can be seen in her everyday behaviour as well. She communicates a great deal through her body language and her eyes, and she uses this natural way of working also at home within the pack.
We Are Looking for Homes for the Puppies
We are looking for an active permanent home for one female puppy. Another female puppy will be placed in a co-ownership/guardian home with an active, dog-sport-oriented family.
We hope to find homes that are interested in training and participating in activities with their dog. An interest in working-dog sports, for example, would be especially welcome, as we hope these puppies will have the potential for versatile training and activities.
The puppies will leave for their new homes veterinary health checked and eye examined. Each puppy will receive a puppy package. The new owner will also receive membership in the Finnish Collie Association (SCY) and, of course, the breeder’s support for the years to come.
